After receiving his degree Al spent six years as a tooling and product design engineer in the metal forming industry. As a design engineer Al worked on consumer packaging such as beverage and other food containers. Subsequently, Al was employed for three years as a production engineer in the metal forming industry, where he was responsible for improving production, efficiency, and quality at manufacturing facilities in Kentucky, California, and England.
In addition, he served as a senior project manager for three years in the field of thermoplastic injection molding, receiving
professional accolades for innovative products produced by the projects he managed.
